Seasoned Swine BBQ: Experience Authentic BBQ Delights in Golden, CO

Food was great! Has the platter that feeds 2-3 and all the meats were amazing! Picked the green chili mac and cheese, potato salad, and pickled coleslaw. Wasn't the biggest fan of the coleslaw but the other two were delicious. Both BBQ sauces, absolutely on point, highly recommend this spot!

I've driven by here dozens of times and never stopped. On this particular day I couldnt come up with a reason to keep on driving, so I decided to come here with a friend. First off: the place is on the second floor. So, you go in and then you the stairs to order at the counter before taking your seat. This means that, sometimes, the line to order stretched down the stairs. I'm assuming the first floor is where they slow cook the meats which is great, but upon fiest arrival I didnt know where to go. They have a Pepsi machine, if you drink soda, and some alcohol if thats your thing. The food was great. Like really good. The BBQ sauce options were also very nice. No complaints. Service was impeccable. Is that due to the place not being busy when we stopped by or are they always this great? I sont know, but in the middle of the day, in the middle of the week, it was fantastic. No complaints. All-in-all, I would return here in a heartbeat and only wish I could find a great barbecue joint in the Centennial area.

A friend and I stopped in yesterday for lunch. I ordered the brisket, jalapeño sausage with cheddar, OG mac n cheese and the baked beans. The brisket was cold as was the sausage. Then when they brought it back the sausage was still cold but the brisket was hot. Third time I finally got a sausage that was hot. Very disappointing when you spend $70 for two people. AND my friend's brisket was cold too. The brisket was tender and pulled right apart but it was a bit on the dry side. The jalapeño sausage with cheddar was phenomenal. I do believe I'm going to have to learn how to make some of that at home. Beans and Mac n cheese were great. Very nice smoke ring on the brisket too. The place was clean and customer service overall was pretty good but the cook seemed annoyed when we complained about the meat being cold. For $34.99/ lb of smoked brisket I expect HOT fresh food. Not lukewarm food.

The name of this restaurant is quite ironic if you think about it. It’s called the season swine, but they could’ve been better in the seasoning area. I ate the swineoceros. It came with three sides, a jalapeño cheddar sausage, brisket, burnt ends, pulled pork, pulled chicken, and ribs. My top pics were the sausage and burnt ends. The pulled pork and pool chicken was very tender, however it just needed more seasoning added. Very similar to the brisket, it would’ve been dynamic if it had some flavor or seasoning to it. They have the concept of tender down, now they just need to ace the concept of flavor and seasonings. Would I come back, absolutely. They are one of very few restaurants that actually made a decent mac & cheese. The customer service was good. The spot was clean and some of the few foods I tasted were rated highly for me.

Stopped in on a whim while running errands. Parking is limited, gravel lot however the building is pretty vintage and I think it fits the ambiance. Don't be surprised if the lot is full, because the BBQ is some of the best in Colorado!! Tender and smokey brisket, crazy good burnt ends and a spicy avocado slaw to round it out. Served with delicious cold pickles and pickled red onions - it was everything I hoped for and more!! Great iced tea, huge drink menu featuring beer, ciders, seltzers and TONS of bourbon. Tabletop sauces to enhance your meal. One traditional and one mustard based. Did I mention the staff are rockstars and super friendly?? Run, don't walk, to check this place out!!

Stopped in for some food before going to a football game. Super nice people working. Ordered the meathead and decided to get the combo. Mac and cheese was cheesy but not that dry crap some places serve you. Very nostalgic Mac and cheese. The sandwich was huge. I think is half pound of brisket and pork. The brisket was fall apart tender and the pork was easy to bite into. Not like when you take a bite and half the meat comes out. Bbq sauces were great on the sandwich. I was going to take my food to go but then I heard old country music and saw football on the TV so in stayed to eat so I didnt have to eat that monster sandwich in my truck. I had a good laugh about the piece of paper in the small stall of the womens room before I left.

Excellent Barbecue joint! Looking for a new place to try in Golden and decided to try based off solid reviews. The Boss Brisket sandwich was stellar. Ordered a link and some green chili mac on the side, both very good! I like the atmosphere including good music playing while there. I will absolutely visit again.

Best BBQ I’ve had in awhile, hands down the best burnt ends, turkey and brisket and the baked beans were so good. I was in town for business and now I have my go to spot when I come back. The people inside were amazing and super excited to see you walk in the door. I can’t say enough just go try it
